Austin fences damaged by high winds is certainly the headline this week for Joe at the Austin Fence Doctor. The high winds that whistled through the area this week really played havoc with a lot of fences. I was out in West Texas right before the wind started blowing and headed for Austin. I had been helping my folks with some fence issues and after fixing a corner of their rural area fence, we built a multi-tiered raised garden bed in the corner. Here are some photos of the repairs….

I spent some time recently in the Houston area and I am really happy to be back full-time in the greater Austin area ready to fix your fences.

Although I was able to drive back and forth from Houston to Austin to serve most of my Austin area customers, there is nothing like being right here to handle any and all Austin fence repairs. Sometimes we think we know nearly every road and side road in San Marcos and the rest of the Hill Country. I lived in San Marcos for several years and still have many good friends who live there. Texas State University is my alma mater and I have a lot of fond memories of the time I spent there.

In fact, I got started in the fence business while still a student at Texas State University. I worked for a large Austin fence repair and construction company and started at the bottom of the ladder as a helper on a fence crew.
